Whilst our immediate responsibility is to help candidates find their next opportunity, we also believe that it is vital they consider where this opportunity will take them in the long term. Inevitably, the success of our candidate's career is going to be determined by the opportunities they explore now and what they can achieve in their next role.

Harrier’s Talent Managers have all come from solid HR and Recruitment backgrounds and we appreciate that the HR and Recruitment job market is unlike any other.  We take the time to understand our candidate's goals and aspirations and provide them with in depth overviews of current opportunities matching their requirements.

Once placed in a role our candidate placement care is of paramount importance. The vast majority of our candidates become clients in the knowledge that we provide the best candidate care and best candidate experience. 

Here is what candidates can expect from us:

  • Our aim is to provide candidates with the best care possible and work to place them in the most suitable role available. If there is nothing available that is a match for our candidate's skills, experience and aspirations, then we will wait until there is. We want the role to be the right fit and will encourage candidates to wait for that opportunity rather than just take what is available at the time.
  • We will work closely with candidates to understand their career aspirations, their desires and what motivators.
  • We will not forget about candidates, lose interest, or delete details after a period of time. We will continue to work with candidates to search for a new role until they instruct us not to.
  • Throughout the interview process we will always ask candidates whether they have concerns or reservations about the roles we are speaking to them about and interviews they are attending. If at any stage candidates are not sure about something, we will walk them through the issues or concerns until they are comfortable.
  • We do not send CVs speculatively to our clients and we will always speak to candidates about an opportunity before submitting their CV.
